Chelsea will return to action this weekend when they face Newcastle United in what will be their last match before the start of the 2022 World Cup.

However, ahead of the match, former Arsenal goalkeeper, David Seaman, has predicted Newcastle to defeat Chelsea by three goals to one in Saturday’s Premier League tie.

The Magpies will on Saturday evening, host Chelsea at St. James’ Park in a Premier League tie as they head to the game after beating Southampton in their previous match, while Chelsea lost to Arsenal in the last EPL outing before being kicked out of the Carabao Cup by Man City

However, Seaman believed the same will happen to the Blues against Newcastle, claiming the host will win Graham Potter’s side 3-1.

“Newcastle against Chelsea… This is a proper test for Chelsea off the back of the Arsenal defeat,” Seaman told his YouTube podcast.

“Going up to Newcastle, who are third in the league, and that juggernaut is going into second gear.

“I think this could be a tough day for Chelsea. I think it’ll be 3-1 to Newcastle.”
