EPL: Chelsea vs Leeds United: Possible prediction

Chelsea will later on today host Leeds United at Stamford Bridge in the EPL.

The Blues head to the match after their recent draw against Russian side Zenit in the UCL and their defeat to West Ham in their last EPL match.

Presently Chelsea have been unseated from the top of the EPL and are currently seated at the third spot behind Man City and Liverpool.

The Blues will hope to return to winning ways when they face Leeds this weekend.

Speaking ahead of the match, former Arsenal star Paul Merson has predicted a win for the Blues.

Commenting on the Chelsea vs Leeds United, Merson told Sportskeeda: “This is a big game for Chelsea. They were poor against a West Ham side that wasn’t really going anywhere and have a few defensive issues to fix at the moment.

“Leeds haven’t been major goalscorers in the Premier League this season and I think Chelsea will go back to keeping a clean sheet in this game. Chelsea 3, Leeds United 0.”
