Chelsea will return to action in the EPL on Wednesday night when they host North London club Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

The Blues will be without Mateo Kovacic as he was taken off with an ankle injury in the first half of their FA Cup semi-final win over Crystal Palace.

Other players that would miss the match include Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell and Ross Barkley, who has been ill.

Brazil star Thiago Silva could start ahead of Andreas Christensen at the back alongside Reece James, who played from the back against Crystal Palace and Antonio Rudiger.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso are expected to start, while Kovacic’s absence could see N’Golo Kante get a nod at the midfield.

While Ruben Loftus-Cheek was impressive against Crystal Palace, Tuchel may prefer to play Jorginho alongside Kante.

Mason Mount and Timo Werner are expected to start in the final third, while Romelu Lukaku could start ahead of Kai Havertz.
