While the Blues were keen on the playmaker long before making top four and subsequently qualifying for next season’s Champions League, that accomplishment will just help push through a deal for the 21-year-old.

With personal terms previously agreed, it appears exceptionally impossible that the attack minded midfielder will be considered for selection.
