Deal AGREED: Premier league club complete deal for former Chelsea forward
Aston Villa have completed the signing of former Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore from Lyon for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
Bertrand Traore started his senior career with Aston Villa’s Premier League rivals Chelsea and has also had loan spells with Ajax and Dutch clubs Vitesse.
Burkina Faso international lifts Aston Villa’s attacking alternatives further after the arrival of Ollie Watkins from Brentford for a club-record £28m prior this month.
Subtleties of Bertrand Traore’s contract at Villa Park have not been announced by the club.

Aston Villa escaped relegation on the last day of last season after winning promotion through the Sky Bet Championship end of the season games.
The club, who have also recently signed goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and full-back Matty Cash, kick off their first class season at home to Sheffield United on Monday evening.
