Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella has reacted to Noni Madueke’s transfer to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Cucurella questioned why Madueke did not stay at Chelsea to finalise the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

Recall that Madueke represented Chelsea during the tournament while there was speculation about his future at the West London club.

Chelsea went on to display an unexpected first-half performance, scoring 3 goals against UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.

The defended responded by: “Yes, I think so. I think he missed a good opportunity (although) he wasn’t playing as a starter.”
