Chelsea winger issues stern warning to London rivals as he rates Thomas Tuchel’s impact
Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic has heaped praise on Thomas Tuchel who he believes has had a positive impact on the team ever since he joined weeks ago.
Pulisic was allowed to reunite with his former manager at Borussia Dortmund when Chelsea employed Thomas Tuchel as the new manager just days after Frank Lampard was sacked.
The Blues have played two matches under Thomas Tuchel as their first match ended in a goalless draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers while they dispatched Burnley at the bridge on Sunday.
Pulisic who has appeared on these two occasions has now revealed that the arrival of Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea has brought positivity in the team.
Speaking to the club website, Pulisic stated that it’s been good so far as the team have got a new outlook on things, we have had a really good win so it’s been a positive start.
Pulisic who was signed from Borussia Dortmund noted that it’s been some crazy times recently and just to get a win left all the guys in the changing room excited.
He added that the team have had a lot of fun in training and there are smiles on faces which is good to see.
With a tie against Tottenham Hotspur next to come, Pulisic stated that it’s a good time to play Jose Mourinho’s team coming off a good result for the team.
He added that the team are feeling confident, really excited and it’s a good chance to make a statement and most importantly build some momentum.
Pulisic insisted that the team understand what a good result against a good team could do for them.
Chelsea is currently seventh in the Premier League, one place behind Tottenham, who have lost their last two fixtures under Jose Mourinho.
