Chelsea will return to action on Thursday when they host their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues will head to the game after a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa while the Hotspur will hope to bounce back after a 3-2 defeat to Arsenal in their last match.

Ahead of the match, Chelsea forward Moises Caicedo has shared his opinion about the derby which he said would be massive.

The match is an important one for the Hotspurs as well as for Chelsea who are  hoping to qualify to play Europe next season.

This, however, depends on the outcome of the FA Cup finals between Man City and Man Utd.

Speaking in a pre-match statement, Caicedo said: ‘It’s a massive derby.’

‘I hope I am going to play and it would be amazing to play against them and show our football. Win that game and it would be amazing for us.’

Meanwhile, Caicedo is expected to player in the match where he would continue to be partnered with Conor Gallagher in midfield.

The trio that has played for most of the season has been broken up by the injury which ruled Argentine star Enzo Fernandez out for the rest of 2023
