Chelsea tipped to sign AC Milan star

The recent reports have revealed Chelsea could make moves for Rafael Leao in the summer from Italian club AC Milan

The Blues were linked with moves for Leao during the winter transfer window but didn’t materialize.

They may, however, be able to sign Leao in a less expensive deal in the summer.

According to Tuttosport, Leao’s worth has dropped from around £88.4 million to £61.8 million.

Also, the Portugal star’s deal at AC Milan will expire next year but there are ongoing talks on a possible extension.

It is said that the 23-year-old wants to continue playing at San Siro.

Nonetheless, considering his contract’s expiration and declining market worth the Blues might able to get him for a much cheaper price next season.

Leao has been impressive this season for AC Milan, scoring eight goals and creating seven assists in 28 games.

Also, he has been a regular starter for AC Milan at just 23.

He won the Scudetto last season and was the Serie A Player of the Year award winner.
