Brentford star Ivan Toney has reportedly told the club his desire to leave in the January transfer window.

Ivan, who has not played competitive football since May after he was placed on eight-month ban for breaching the Football Association’s betting regulations, is highly wanted by a number of clubs.

With his suspension set to end in the middle of January, Toney has been attracting significant interest ahead of the winter transfer window.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd have been linked with moves for Toney and could submit offers for him once the transfer window opens.

The Bees have allegedly placed Toney’s price tag at £100m, which could put off potential suitors, however, a report via 90min revealed that the England star is willing to push for a January exit.

According to the report, the 27-year-old is surprised by Brentford’s financial demands and is now ready to convince the Bees to let him leave in the winter transfer window.

With less than two years on his current contract, the Bees may have no choice but to drop their asking price next summer if they decide against selling him in January.
