Chelsea midfielder Kai Havertz has opened up on his struggles at Stamford Bridge after he put in a man of the match display in the Blues victory over Everton on Monday night.

Kai Havertz was one of Europe’s most wanted playmaker when Chelsea signed him from Bayern Leverkusen in the summer.

However, he has not been able to replicate the form that saw Chelsea break the bank for him as he been forced to appear in just 13 Premier League games this season.

Kai Havertz was a surprise in Chelsea’s starting lineup on Monday night against Everton and he played a key part in the blues opening goal.

Speaking after the match, Havertz stated that since his off-season moves, many people still have doubts about him.

He stated that it is difficult to say is performance against Everton was his best performance for Chelsea but the first few months were difficult for him.

Havertz added that he hopes that he will get a lot of confidence now and carry on like this as it wasn’t easy to come to Chelsea where everything was new.
