Despite the fact that they have completed the signing of some players this January, Chelsea are keen on signing more players.

However, the recent reports revealed Chelsea have suffered a fresh setback in their attempt to sign PSV winger, Noni Madueke.

PSV were said to have turned down Chelsea’s opening bid for Madueke, just days after the Blues signed Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk.

According to the Metro UK, Chelsea offered £26.6million for Madueke, but PSV believe the bid is far too low for their player.

PSV have already lost one forward this January transfer window, with Cody Gakpo joining Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Liverpool for a fee upwards of £35million.

They are, however, not willing to sell another of their attackers unless it’s for huge money.

Madueke was trained at Crystal Palace and Tottenham academies before moving to PSV back in 2019.

So far during his stay at PSV, the 20-year-old winger has scored 20 goals and created 14 assists in 80 appearances
