Chelsea suffer injury blow as this player will be out for weeks

Chelsea have reasons to be worried as they have again suffered a fresh injury blow in the person of Dennis Zakaria.

Zakaria’s injury comes ahead of the Blues’ Premier League tie with Liverpool on Saturday afternoon at Anfield.

Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, also confirmed the update after the Blues’ Premier League 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

According to Potter, the Blues midfielder would probably be out for four weeks due to an injury.

Recall that Zakaria sustained a blow in their Premier League 2-1 defeat against Fulham last Thursday.

Speaking after Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend, Potter said at his post-match press conference: “Denis will probably be out for four weeks, so that is a blow for us.”

Zakaria moved to Chelsea on loan from Serie A club Juventus last summer transfer window and recently started getting game time under Potter.
