Chelsea suffer injury blow ahead of game vs Arsenal
Chelsea have suffered an injury blow ahead of their next game vs Arsenal as their striker Nicolas Jackson who will not join up with the Senegal squad this international break underwent minor surgery.
A report via the Daily Mirror revealed Jackson has stayed back in London after the surgery on a minor wrist issue.
He is now an injury doubt for their next clash in the Premier League against Arsenal on October 21.
Since joining the Blues in the recently concluded summer transfer window, the 22-year-old former Villarreal striker has scored only three goals for Chelsea.
Jackson scored the fourth and final goal during Chelsea’s 4-1 win over Burnley last weekend.
As of now, Chelsea are seated at the 11th spot on the EPL table. They have won three of their past matches back to back after a tough start at the beginning of the season.
