Chelsea suffer another transfer blow as defender turns down offer

Chelsea have suffered another transfer blow this summer as Paris Saint-Germain star, Presnel Kimpembe has turned down a move to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Kimpembe is said to want to remain at the French Ligue1 club.

A report via Talk Sports claimed that the France international is very settled in his current club and doesn’t have any reason to move elsewhere.

This comes despite strong interest from the west London side for him and the fact that the French Ligue 1 side were open to selling him.

The Ligue1 champions will bever force the defender out and it looks like he is staying put, according to the report.

Chelsea will now have to focus on other options as they hope to sign a new defender before the end of the ongoing summer transfer window.

They have already lost out in the race for Jules Kounde from Sevilla, who preferred a move to the Spanish side Barcelona.
