Chelsea star to sign for new club

A popular defender in Chelsea has been said to leave the team soon as the contract he signed with the team would soon be over.

He was also said to have given Barcelona a “verbal okay”, which means he might be joining the Catalan club after leaving ‘the blues.

The 25-year old, however, chose not to consider any proposal from premier league clubs due to the love and respect he has for Chelsea.

Notwithstanding, he still intends to leave the club in June, though his intentions of leaving is still not clear yet.

Christensen has reportedly been seeing the Barcelona team for some weeks and is on the verge of getting signed by the Catalan club. The report added that he has “practically agreed” on a four-year contract deal with the supposed team. However, Chelsea is not giving up easily on letting Christensen move into the Barcelona team as they will be holding a final meeting with him to convince him to extend his contract deal with the team.
