Chelsea set to meet £60m exit clause for Euro 2020 sensation ahead of Liverpool

Chelsea are reportedly willing to meet the release clause of Sweden international, Alexander Isak who has been on fire at Euro 2020.

Alexander Isak has become one of the highlights in Euro 2020, and his performance has caught the eye of top clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.

However, Chelsea have taken the pole position to sort out a deal that will bring Isak to Stamford Bridge.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, the 21-year-old might be moving to Stamford Bridge as Thomas Tuchel sees him as a player who can help his new project.

Chelsea are reportedly concerned about Timo Werner’s miss in front of goal as Isak was productive last season for Real Sociedad.

The blues are willing to pay Isak’s £60million (€70m) exit clause, and it’s rumoured the striker will fancy joining the European Champions.

Isak scored 17 goals for Real Sociedad last season and was named the Young Player of the Season in Spain.

He has continued the excellent performance at the Euros, putting in a strong performance that confirmed why he’s one of the most sorts after talent.

With Chelsea on the move for Erling Haaland, it is yet to be known If they will still carry on with the deal for Isak if they are able to sign the Dortmund star.
