Chelsea set to let this striker leave this summer
Ahead of the summer transfer window set to commence in July, the reports from Stamford Bridge have revealed that the club’s management has declared that Belgium striker, Michy Batshuayi has been allowed to leave the club.
Batshuayi has been away from Chelsea on loan playing for Crystal Palace where he has managed two goals and as many assists in 18 Premier League appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side during the just-completed campaign.
The Belgium striker who moved to Stamford Bridge from Marseille for £33.2m in 2016 was unable to establish himself as a regular in the Chelsea squad.
This resulted in the Blues sending him on loan moves and so far he has played for Borussia Dortmund and Valencia before joining the Seagulls.
According to football london, at least one top-half Premier League club is interested in signing Batshuayi, who despite an average season has been selected to represent Belgium at the European Championships this summer.
The report also hinted that Chelsea will be hoping to receive a fee in excess of £10m for the striker, who is expected to return to Cobham to train with Thomas Tuchel’s side after the Euros are concluded.
Batshuayi has made just 77 appearances for Chelsea and scored 25 goals during the period he was not on loan.
