Chelsea request full asking price from AC Milan for Fikayo Tomori

AC Milan have supposedly been told by Chelsea that they should pay £26m in the event that they wish to sign defender Fikayo Tomori this summer.

The 23-year-old has intrigued since sealing a loan move to the Serie A giants in January, after making 11 appearances for AC Milan.

There are reports that a £26m option to buy the England international was agreed between both Chelsea and AC Milan, but the Italians would need to pay the full fee in the event that they wish to sign him on a permanent deal.

AC Milan sporting director and club legend Paolo Maldini as of late affirmed that the club will endeavor to make the Englishman’s loan transfer a permanent move this summer.

Fikayo Tomori played 4 times under former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, subsequent to falling down the pecking order following the arrival of Brazilian defender Thiago Silva.

Thomas Tuchel has since supplanted Frank Lampard, however Fikayo Tomori had effectively started making a name for himself  in the Italian first team and is currently considering remaining in Milan past this season.
