Chelsea reportedly willing to sell James
Chelsea are said to be open to selling one of the key player Reece James.
Spanish giants Real Madrid have been linked with moves for James and could submit an offer as low as £34.5million for the England international.
The Blues on the other hand are said to value James at £51.5m.
Chelsea may have to accept Real Madrid’s offer if James’ fitness doesn’t improve.
He was withdrawn during the Blues’ first Premier League match of the season against Liverpool.
James would go on to suffer a recurrence of a hamstring injury in training the following week.
As of now, the 23-year-old is yet to return to action, allowing Malo Gusto the opportunity to get game time, although the latter could drop back down to the substitutes’ bench when James returns.
Meanwhile, earlier this season, James was handed the Blues captaincy, taking over a leadership role vacated by Jorginho and Cesar Azpilicueta over the past 12 months.
