Chelsea reportedly ready to cash in on this goalkeeper
The latest report has claimed that Chelsea are open to cashing in on goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga during the summer transfer window.
This report is coming despite the fact that Kepa has been impressive for the Blues when called upon since the arrival of head coach Thomas Tuchel 13 months ago.
Kepa who was Chelsea number one goalie lost his place in the first team to Edouard Mendy but this has not stop him from doing his best when he get the chance to play.
So far, Kepa has conceded ust three times in seven matches and was also in action against Al-Hilal in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals on Wednesday.
However, according to The Guardian, the Blues are likely to consider bids for Arrizabalaga in the summer, even though he will still have three years left on his contract.
The report claimed that Chelsea expect Kepa to be craving a new challenge if he remains behind Africa Cup of Nations winner Mendy in the pecking order.
With Kepa now being regarded as a potential asset by other clubs, Chelsea are said to be hoping to recoup some of the £71.6m that they shelled out in 2018, and they are anticipating offers from Spanish clubs.
So far this season, the Spanish goalkeeper has made 12 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions this season, and a total of 122 appearances since his arrival at Stamford Bridge four years ago.
