Premier League side Chelsea are still being linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland as they hope to strengthen their frontline.

However, they face stiff competition from the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, who are also linked with the Norway international.

Chelsea invested in their frontline last summer, bringing in Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, but the Germany international has failed to impress with some of his performance.

With Haaland’s deal looking like one that might not be completed this summer, Chelsea have reportedly identified Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez as an alternative.

According to a report from Fichajes, Martinez is on Thomas Tuchel’s radar, and the German is ready to have him in his squad next season.

Inter Milan have shown that they can sell their best players at the right price, and Chelsea are eager to sort out a deal with the Italian Champion.

Martinez has scored 40 times over the past two seasons and would provide Chelsea with an attacking edge as they plan to compete at all front next season.
