Chelsea have continued to be linked with a move for a striker, and the blues might end up signing Antoine Griezmann from Barcelona.

According to the new report, Barcelona are willing to offer Antoine Griezmann to Chelsea this summer with the Catalonia club determined to get the France international off their wage bill.

Barcelona are reportedly in a financial crisis, with the Coronavirus crisis playing a considerable role in the club’s transfer policy this season.

The Spanish giant have secured the signing of Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia and Emerson Royal but must offload players so they can register these new signings.

Griezmann has been tipped as the player that will make way as Barcelona are also eager to persuade Lionel Messi towards signing a new deal.

According to Daily Star, Barcelona will offer Chelsea the chance to sign Griezmann, with a meeting between both sides to be held in the next few days.

Chelsea are on the lookout for a striker, and Griezmann will be a great addition as he recently proved his worth with France at the European Championship.

Barcelona paid Atletico Madrid £108million to sign Griezmann and might not be getting such a transfer fee if they end up selling the star forward.
