Chelsea reportedly change asking price for out-of-favour midfielder
Premier League outfit Chelsea are reportedly willing to take a reduced transfer fee in order to offload out-of-favour midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Bakayoko has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge ever since he was signed from Monaco and he has joined the long list of Chelsea players on loan.
The Frenchman was sent on loan to Napoli at the start of the season and he has made made 35 appearances in all competition this season for the Italian side.
His performance has led to reports that Napoli are willing to sign him on a permanent deal with Chelsea eager to make at least half of the price he cost them.
Bakayoko cost £35m when he was bought from Monaco in 2017 but reports from CalcioNapoli24 have stated that Napoli have been told they can have him on a permanent deal for £15.5m.
However, it is claimed that the Italian club want Chelsea to further reduce the asking price in order for a deal to be agreed, a move that might not be possible.
With his loan deal not including an option to buy, Chelsea are keen to finally offload him at the end of this season and might be looking elsewhere if a deal is not agreed with Napoli.
