One of the players that would be allowed to leave Chelsea this summer is Kai Havertz.

This comes as reports revealed the Blues are ready to open talks with Spanish club Real Madrid for the 23-year-old German international over a possible summer transfer.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also said Havertz is the subject of interest from Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti is said to be an admirer of the Chelsea attacker, who has struggled to impress for the Blues who signed him for €80 million.

As it stands, Chelsea are ready to count their losses as they said to be ready to hold talks over a possible summer move for the 23-year-old, whose market value is now €60 million.

Romano wrote via his Twitter account, “Real Madrid have concrete interest in Kai Havertz. He’s one of the players in the list, really appreciated by Ancelotti. #RealMadrid Understand Chelsea are open to discuss Havertz exit but they want important fee, no way for loan similar.”
