Former Man Utd star Andy Cole has reacted to Chelsea transfer moves for Portugal star Joao Felix this January transfer window.

Cole, who described Felix as world-class questioned Chelsea’s deal for Atletico Madrid forward.

The Man Utd star, however, added that Felix would not impress in terms of scoring goals for Chelsea like Man City star Erling Haaland.

According to the report, Felix is close to joining the Blues on a loan transfer, having reportedly flied to London for his medical.

“Felix is undoubtedly a class player, but if you are talking about £10m for a loan fee, you might as well try to get the deal done on a permanent basis if you fancy him,” Cole told Casinos en Ligne.

“I think he will create a lot of goals, but will he score a lot, Erling Haaland style? No. The two are totally different players.”
