Chelsea midfielder reportedly offered to Arsenal, Tottenham
Chelsea midfielder and France international N’Golo Kante has reportedly been offered to EPL rivals Arsenal and Tottenham.
According to Foot Mercato, the Blues have “absolutely no intention” of handing Kante a new deal, as his current deal expires at the end of this season.
The 31-year-old France star’s injury record means the Blues are reluctant to hold him down to an extension, with Kante earning a reported £170k-a-week on his current deal.
According to the reports, the French World Cup winner, however, wants to remain in London.
As a result, his agents have offered him to both Arsenal and Tottenham.
Kante will be available for nothing at the end of the season, and free to begin talks with overseas clubs from January regarding a pre-contract agreement.
PSG chief Luis Campos has also been encouraged to act after Chelsea’s surprise decision.
The latest report comes after Kante recently rejoin the rest of the team after an injury break.
