Chelsea meet Napoli, offer Lukaku for this striker
Chelsea are already working on their summer transfer plans and how to rebuild their team ahead of next season.
The Blues have had it tough this season under their manager Mauricio Pochettino.
As of now, Chelsea are seated at the 8th spot on the league table and are hoping to move higher to get a chance to play in Europe next season.
To boost their squad ahead of next campaign, a report via Sport Italia claim that Chelsea will try to offer Romelu Lukaku plus €90m and a young player to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
It is no longer news that Osimhen would be leaving the Naples at the end of the season and his release clause has been fixed at around €120 million, an amount Chelsea can’t pay without triggering the FFP rules.
Chelsea will also have to battle French side PSG who are said to be favourite to sign Osimhen, who they see as a worthy replacement for outgoing Kylian Mbappe.
Arsenal are also on the list of clubs interested in the Nigerian forward.
However, Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio suggest that Chelsea have approached Napoli to ask about Osimhen and could take actions in the summer window.
