Chelsea linked with Inter Milan midfielder

Chelsea could welcome another player from Inter Milan this summer following Romelu Lukaku’s departure from Stamford Bridge to the Italian side.

This comes as the report claimed Cesare Casadei, is set for a shock move to Chelsea.

A report via Gianluca di Marzio claims Chelsea have made a bid to sign Casadei from Inter Milan this summer.

The Blues want to bring the 19-year-old away to Stamford Bridge.

Although Casadei is yet to make a senior appearance for the Italian club, Chelsea have, however, monitored his progress for a while.

The Italy U19 international was mentioned during the negotiations between the two clubs to resolve Romelu Lukau’s future earlier this summer.

Should Casadei join Chelsea, he may end up joining their junior team or be sent out on loan.

In another report, Chelsea are keen on signing new players before the close of the summer transfer window.

Having lost Jules Kounde to Barcelona, Chelsea are in the race to sign from other options.
