Chelsea link with moves for Hakimi
Chelsea have reportedly been linked with moves for Arcraf Hakimi ahead of the summer transfer window.
The report revealed that the Blues have contacted Hakimi’s agent as they hope to sign the defender from Inter Milan.
Hakimi enjoyed an impressive outing in the 2020-21 season for Inter Milan as he found the back of the net seven times and contributed 11 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.
While Paris Saint-Germain PSG have also shown interest in the Morocco international, the recent report have claimed that the Blues have gone ahead of them to secure his service.
Arsenal are also said to be interested in the defender who still has 4 years to go at San Siro.
According to Goal, Thomas Tuchel’s side have been in touch with Hakimi’s agent Alejandro Camano and his Serie A club, as the Premier League outfit look to secure a deal ahead of next season.
The report further claimed that the Blues are willing to pay £56m for the defender, but Inter, who have financial problems, are thought to value him closer to £70m.
It is left to see if Chelsea will be able to accept the asking price and make the move this summer.
