Chelsea goalkeeper set to leave on loan
Chelsea goalkeeper and England international Nathan Baxter seems to be hoping for a new loan contract soon.
This comes as Baxter, in a statement, suggested that he would be ‘open’ to leaving Stamford Bridge for loan employers Hull City should the opportunity arise.
He stressed that he would love to remain at Hull City.
Talking to BBC Radio Humberside, he said: “If and when that decision is made, obviously it’s something that I’m open to, but with football, it’s just a case of taking it game by game.”
It is best for Baxter to leave Stamford Bridge for another club as the duo of Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga are Thomas Tuchel most preferred goalkeepers.
A move to Hull City will help Baxter gain more experience, which can help turn his career around at Stamford Bridge.
In other news, Chelsea are seated at the top of the EPL table despite their 1-1 clash with Man Utd over the weekend.
The Blues will now face Watford in their next EPL game on Wednesday and would hope to pick all three points to ensure their dominance at the top of the league.
