Chelsea are expecting to send Saul Niguez back out to Atletico Madrid over the winter, as per a report.

The Spain international has struggled to leave his imprint at Stamford Bridge since a nightmare 45 minutes against Aston Villa during his Premier League debut.

Notwithstanding his helpless fortunes since arriving on loan during deadline day, a new report asserted that the Premier League leader have no plan to end is loan spell as they plan to get the best out from him after the international break.

Notwithstanding, a different report from Marca claims that Thomas Tuchel has excluded Saul in his long term plan and is wanting to send him back to his parent club in January.

The report adds that Atletico are in no situation to acknowledge Saul’s early return, however, as the midfielder’s temporary exit assisted them with financing Antoine Griezmann’s return.

The 26-year-old has featured only five times in all competitions for Chelsea this season, and his deal with Atletico isn’t expected to lapse until 2026.
