Chelsea close to beating PSG for this player

Chelsea are said to be leading the race to complete a deal of 25-year-old Barcelona star, Ousmane Dembele, despite interest from French club Paris Saint Germains.

According to a report from TMW (as per 10 Sport), Dembele is close to joining Chelsea on a free transfer this summer.

The report added that Dembele has decided that he would move to Stamford Bridge as he is keen to reunite with his former coach Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

Dembele is said to favour a move to the EPL against heading to France

The 2018 World Cup winner trained under Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel during their time together at Dortmund.

Dembele has struggled to impress at Camp Nou, despite the mega-money the Catalans paid to sign him in 2017 from Borussia Dortmund.

One of the issues that affected him was his incessant Injuries and behavioural issues.

Dembele during his time at Chelsea scored 32 goals in 150 appearances and is now set to leave the Spanish club this summer when his contract expires, with Stamford Bridge considered his next destination.
