Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel would apparently support decision to make a bid for Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa.

The Premier League giants, who at present sit at the top of the Premier League standings, are all around loaded for options in the last third.

Nevertheless, they continue to be connected with a wide range of attacking players, including Chiesa who has made 13 starts for Juventus in Serie A and the Champions League this season.

Recently, it has been recommended that Juventus would dismiss any offer for the Italy international, paying little heed to the club expecting to improve their financial circumstance.

In any case, as indicated by writer Enzo Bucchioni, the Blues will offer £71m for the 24-year-old during the January move window.

Cited by Tuttomercatoweb, Bucchioni says: Chelsea have chosen to make a move and proposition €84m for Federico Chiesa.

Obviously seeing him play twice intently has eliminated the last questions and Tuchel gave the OK and the operation has formally begun through intermediaries.

Juventus have a commitment to purchase Chiesa from Fiorentina, a deal which won’t be made officially until the summer.
