Chelsea academy forward signs deal till 2027
Chelsea in a recent update announced that their Academy Forward, Tyrique George has penned a new deal until 2027, with a further one-year option.
George, who arrived at the Chelsea academy in 2014 as an under-8 has progressed over the years through the Academy ranks at the club.
The forward was impressive for the Blues Academy last season as he played key roles across two Chelsea Academy sides.
He also gained attention with his stunning goals during the matches he featured in.
According to the records, George made 26 appearances for the Blues Under-21s, three of which came in the Premier League 2 playoffs – while 21 outings came with the Under-18s, who ended the season as Premier League South champions.
While George represented England at the youth level, he is eligible to play for Nigeria, owing to his background.

Meanwhile, his newly extended contract could earn him some game time in the Blues senior team under new manager Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.
Hopefully, in the future, George might be able to break into the Blues squad who continue to be unlucky when it comes to signing a striker that scores goals.
