Chelsea
Brighton defender ready for Stamford Bridge move

Brighton defender Marc Cucurella is set to join Chelsea this summer.
This is according to popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who said Chelsea have reached a personal agreement with Cucurella as they close in on a deal for the defender.
Aside from Chelsea, Premier League champions Manchester City have had multiple bids for Cucurella rejected by Brighton as they have refused to meet Brighton’s £50 million asking price for the player.
It seems the Blues have beaten the Citizens to it as they have now made a significant breakthrough and could welcome Curerella to Stamford Bridge in the coming days.
Cucurella is now said to be set to join the Blues once they reach an agreement over a fee with Brighton.
The 24-year-old defender wanted a move to Manchester City this summer and had submitted a transfer request a few days ago to force through a move.
With the look of things, Chelsea are at the forefront to sign the Spain international, especially as they seek to improve their defence ahead of the new season
