Borussia Dortmund hitman open to Chelsea move
Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland is probably glad to complete a move to Chelsea, should the Blues stump up BVB’s asking price.
Hypothesis encompassing the Norway international’s future has quietened recently, with Dortmund evidently certain that they will hold his services for another one year.
Chelsea and other intrigued clubs could be set for an exceptional battle in 2022 when his £68m release clause activates, however Thomas Tuchel’s side are supposed lining up a huge proposal of £150m in the present transfer window.
As indicated by 90Min, the 20-year-old would be interested to make the move to Stamford Bridge if a deal can be reached between the two clubs, as Chelsea would prefer not to battle with any semblance of Real Madrid and Manchester United for his signature one year from now.
The report adds that Dortmund have effectively prepared themselves for a nine-figure offer from Chelsea, who are still confident of striking a deal for a fee close to £135m.
Erling Haaland finished the 2020-21 season with 41 goals and 12 assists to his name from 41 appearances in all competitions, and his Dortmund contract runs for another three years.
