With the summer transfer window close by, transfer rumours are bound to trend and go viral.

In a latest update, Chelsea have been linked with moves for Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele.

A report via the Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, claimed Chelsea plan to make Dembele their first signing of the 2022 summer transfer window.

The report added Dembele, who will become a free agent next month is open to a move away from the Spanish club this summer.

According to the report, Chelsea would face stiff competition from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-German PSG, who are also in the race for the striker.

However, Mundo Deportivo claimed Chelsea could have a chance of signing Dembele since he had worked with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund before he completed a £140m move to FC Barcelona in 2017.

A move for Dembele may not be a good deal for Chelsea as he has struggled with injury during his time at Camp Nou and could help end up not impressing like Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner at Stamford Bridge.
