Ballon d’Or: Arsenal players make it to nominee list

This year’s Ballon d’Or nominee list was drawn on Wednesday, September 7.

While world football star Lionel Messi is tipped as the favourite to win the title for the eighth time, after captaining Argentina to the World Cup win last year in Qatar, some EPL players also made it to the list.

The duo of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are expected to run Messi close.

The winner will be made known in Paris on October 30.

Karim Benzema, the current holder also made it to the nominee list this year.
