Arsenal’s Kai Havertz scores as Germany defeat France
France suffered defeat to Germany during their friendly tie on Saturday as the French coach, Didier Deschamps in a post-match statement explained why his team lost 2-0 against the Germans.
According to Deschamps, his French team were below the Germans in terms of commitment and aggression during the encounter.
Two goals from Florian Wirtz and Arsenal’s Kai Havertz gave Germany the victory against France at the Groupama Stadium.

France had a goal chance through Kylian Mbappe in the 25th minute but struggled in the second half to create any.
“I think we weren’t up to it. We didn’t have the ingredients.
“In terms of commitment, and aggression, we were below them,” Deschamps said at his post-match interview after the game.
France will now focus on their next game against Chile, while Germany will plsy the Netherlands on Tuesday.
