Arsenal on Tuesday night thrashed Chelsea in a 3-1 win at Emirate Stadium.

The latest win has seen the Gunners move back to the top of the Premier League table.

Recall that the North London side had lost their place at the summit after Manchester City defeated them 4-1 at the Etihad, before winning 2-1 at Fulham on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Arsenal led by Mikel Arteta took control of the game against Chelsea that saw Martin Odegaard scoring twice in the first half.

Gabriel Jesus made a third goal after he fired the ball home following a mix-up in Chelsea’s defence.

Chelsea were able to score one goal thanks to an effort from Noni Madueke, but it was merely a consolation at the end of the day.

So far, Arsenal have accumulated 78 points from 34 matches, two more than Man City who have two outstanding fixtures to play.
