Arsenal ready to pay £86 million to sign this Napoli star

Mike Arteta’s Arsenal side are ready to compete in the Uefa Europa League and other English domestic leagues next season as they sign more players this summer.

The latest report revealed that the Gunners are now ready to spend the sum of £86 million to sign Napoli star and Nigeria international Victor Osimhen this summer window.

Osimhen’s top form for the Naples has seen him become one of the most wanted players, especially by EPL clubs this summer.

The report revealed that aside from Arsenal, the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle United are also interested in signing him.

According to Gazzetta.it, the Gunners are willing to meet Napoli’s asking price for the Nigerian.

The North London club side want Osimhen to move to Emirates as a replacement for Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette, who left the club for his former side Olympic Lyon on a free transfer this summer.

Osimhen has scored 24 goals in 51 league appearances for Napoli since joining them from French Ligue 1 side Lille two years ago.

Napoli signed him from Lille for the sum of £60m to sign Osimhen are ready to let him leave if they get the right offer.
