Aguero makes promises to Barcelona

Now former Man City striker, Sergio Aguero has been confirmed as a Barcelona player.

This comes as the Spanish side confirmed the Argentine international as their newest player and he would join the squad in the new season.

Ahead of next season, Aguero has assured the Catalans of continuing with his form from Man City as he promises to help them win more silverwares in the Spanish La Liga.

According to the terms of his contract, the Argentine international will remain at Barcelona until the end of the 2022/23 season.

“I want to show here what I have shown at City,” Aguero was quoted by Barcelona’s official website as saying.

“It’s an immense joy because since I was a kid, and even more so now with Messi, I have thought that Barça is the best club in the world.

“Any player that is offered the chance to play at Barça, will come running. I will try to do my best to help the club to win big things.”

Aguero spent a decade at Man City and was able to win major trophies with the English side except for the Uefa Champions League trophy which they recently lost to Chelsea a few days ago.
