Against his will: Lukaku to return to Chelsea in the summer

Chelsea star and Belgium international Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge against his will in the summer.

According to the report via TalkSPORT, Lukaku does not want to return to Stamford Bridge as he would prefer to remain in Italy.

However, Italian club Inter Milan are not keen on signing him permanently and have decided to let him return to his parent club.

Recall that Lukaku returned to San Siro on loan this season but has not been the player who previously led them to the title last season, having managed just seven goals in 24 games.

He has also struggled with injury this season and Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Inter Milan cannot afford to buy the former Manchester United and Everton player on a permanent deal. Hence he will need to return to the West London side at the end of the season.
