Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes was among the players who were linked with moves to Arsenal this summer transfer window.

However, the transfer failed to happen despite the winger’s interest to play for the Gunners, as the deal eventually collapsed.

A recent update about Rodrygo’s transfer has emerged via ESPN Brazil, which claimed the winger is set to leave the Los Blancos, with the English Premier League as his preferred destination.

According to the reports, the 24-year-old would have preferred to sign for Arsenal, but the move is no longer likely to happen.

This is because Rodrygo’s high wage is something the North London club will be willing to pay.

However, the winger has been tipped to end up at one of Liverpool ot Tottenham Hotspur, who are also keen on signing him.

So far, Real Madrid have already signed Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, Álvaro Carreras and 17-year-old Franco Mastantuono this summer.
