Arsenal first team players will be walking home with a 25% wage-cut salary if they end up being relegated from the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.

The Gunners are currently going through one of the worst phase in their history as they’ve not been able to grind in positive results ever since the league started.

Mike Arteta side are 15th on the league table and this has sparked reactions from the club fans who are not ready to drop down the league table especially during this festive period.

Arsenal are four points above the relegation zone after picking up just 14 points in 14 games and they are not showing signs that things will improve in the next coming days.

The Gunners currently spend more than £150 million every year on player wages and if they were to get relegated from the Premier League, the wage bill would drop by £37.5 million.
