The latest report has disclosed that several Premier League clubs are set to grill the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) chief, Howard Webb, for poor refereeing this season.

So far, referees in England’s topflight have faced massive criticism after only five matches this season.

This follows controversial decisions that have left top clubs like Arsenal and Manchester City furious.

A report via The Times revealed the clubs are ready to call Webb and pour out their frustrations.

The report further claimed that Arsenal and Man City are furious with Michael Oliver’s officiating of their match at the Etihad Stadium over the weekend.

While the North London were unhappy with Oliver’s decision to hand a second yellow card to Leandro Trossard in the first half for kicking the ball, the Premier League champions on the other hand were angry by the official in the buildup to Riccardo Calafiori’s equaliser.

Hopefully, this could yield positive result as the season continues.

Meanwhile both Arsenal and Man City will return to action in the EFL Cup during the week.

While the Gunners will player Bolton, Man City led by Pep Guardiola will face Watford and both team will hope to bounce back with a win against their opponents.
