Former Chelsea star, Tony Cascarino, has reacted to Spanish side Real Madrid’s interest in Arsenal’s William Saliba.

Cascarino in a statement claimed the Gunners may be tempted to sell Saliba to Real Madrid if they get the right offer.

Speaking with talkSPORT, Cascarino stated that every footballer would be willing to play for a top club like Real Madrid.

The former Chelsea star stated winning and being successful is a great way of keeping players.

He stressed that Arsenal have to achieve that because Saliba is playing to the level of being a Real Madrid player but he has to be convinced that the North London club are going to be a successful in terms of winning titles.

Cascarino said Arsenal need to be challenging to win the Champions League because that’s what Real Madrid do so often.

Meanwhile, we will have to wait to see if the Los Blancos will make a bid for Saliba in the next summer transfer window as Arsenal are unlikely to let him leave at the middle of the season.

The Gunners will hope to end this season with a title having lost the chances to win two times to Man City.
