Jack Wilshere set for a return to Arsenal
Arsenal could welcome the return of one of their former midfielder in the person of Jack Wilshere this summer.
Wilshere could return to the club where he is expected to take over the Gunners youth team as a coach.
The reports revealed the former England international held talks with the Gunners over a possible return.
Wilshere, 30, is close to ending his footballing career, having had a short spell with Danish side Aarhus last season.
The former Gunner midfielder has made known his intention to move into coaching once he hangs his boots.
With Arsenal now in need of new appointments in their youth ranks, it may be time for Wilshere to switch careers.
Wilshere would come in as a replacement for Kevin Betsy, who left his role as Under-23s manager to take over of Crawley Town in League Two while Under-18s boss Dan Micchie left with him to become his assistant.
The position is needed to be filled and the Evening Standard reports that the Gunners have held talks with their former star through academy chief Per Mertesacker.
