Arsenal are allegedly close to signing Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes as he plans to have a medical with the club.
Duncan Castles tweeted yesterday that Gabriel was expected to have a medical with Arsenal today, with Lille having consented to sell the talented young defender to the Gunners for around €30m.
Duncan Castles adds that the Gunners hope to have beaten the likes of Everton, Manchester United and Napoli to the deal.
This could be great business by Arsenal, who have since quite a while ago needing fortifications in defence after a baffling season in 2019/20.
